Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Invoice Generator (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors and users of the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Description of the service

Invoice Generator is a free, browser-based tool for creating and exporting invoices, quotations, estimates, receipts, purchase orders, proforma invoices, tax invoices, commercial invoices, credit notes and debit notes as PDF, PNG or printable documents. The Service runs entirely in your web browser. We do not host accounts, store your documents on our servers, or process payments on your behalf.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time without prior notice. We will announce material changes on our changelog page.

3. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that the PDFs and other outputs it generates will be accurate or suitable for your specific tax, accounting, or legal situation.

You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of every document you produce, including totals, tax calculations, currency formatting, dates and any other content. Always double-check the final PDF before sending it to a client.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Invoice Generator, its authors and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; or (c) any unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Because the Service is offered free of charge, the aggregate liability of Invoice Generator for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us to use the Service, i.e. zero.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, national or international law; (b) generate documents that are fraudulent, misleading, or that infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any third party; (c) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code from the Service except to the extent applicable law expressly permits it; (d) introduce viruses, malware, or any other malicious code; or (e) interfere with or disrupt the Service or the servers and networks that host it.

You retain all rights in the content you enter into the Service. We do not claim ownership of your invoice data.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, templates, code, graphics, and text, is the intellectual property of Invoice Generator and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. The templates are licensed to you for the purpose of producing your own business documents; you may not resell, redistribute, or repackage the templates themselves as a product.

The documents you create with the Service belong to you. You may use them commercially without attribution.

7. Termination

Because the Service requires no account, there is nothing to terminate. You may stop using Invoice Generator at any time. Because your data lives in your browser, deleting your browser storage or visiting in private/incognito mode effectively ends your session.

We may restrict or block access to the Service for any user who violates these Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in the jurisdiction where the operator of Invoice Generator resides for any actions arising out of or relating to these Terms.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. By continuing to use the Service after changes take effect, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
