Yes. There is no trial, no paid tier, no credit card, and no watermark. Every feature — templates, PDF export, multi-currency, tax, discount, payment QR codes — is free for everyone, forever. We keep the lights on through optional advertising and through word of mouth, never through a paywall.

No. There is no login, no email confirmation, no password. Open the page, start typing, and your work autosaves to your browser. You only need an account if you want one — and we don't even offer one. If you want to save a copy of a document outside your browser, download the PDF.

Your editable invoice is stored in localStorage on the device you're using. It is not uploaded during normal editing. If you explicitly click Copy link, a read-only snapshot is stored so the recipient can open it on another device. Always export important documents as PDFs to keep your own backup.

Yes. You can set a tax rate per line item, or apply a tax at the invoice level. Tax labels are flexible — use 'GST', 'VAT', 'Sales Tax', 'CGST + SGST', or anything else your jurisdiction requires. For India-specific GST invoices, try the dedicated Tax Invoice generator, which formats the document with the standard GST fields.

Click the 'Download PDF' button in the export toolbar above the live preview. The PDF is generated in your browser and downloaded immediately — no email, no waiting. If the download doesn't start, check that your browser isn't blocking downloads, or try the 'Print' option and choose 'Save as PDF'.

Invoice Generator supports 20+ currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, INR, AUD, CAD, JPY, CNY, SGD, AED, ZAR, NGN, PKR, BDT, BRL, MXN, CHF, SEK, NZD and HKD. Pick your currency from the dropdown in the Invoice Details section and the symbol and number formatting update instantly across the preview.

Yes — the layout is mobile-first. On a phone, the editor and live preview stack vertically and you can switch between them with a tab toggle. On a tablet or desktop, the editor sits on the left and the live A4 preview on the right, so you see your changes as you type.

Yes. In the Business section, upload a logo image (PNG, JPG or SVG). The logo appears in the header of your document. You can also upload a signature image that appears in the payment section, which is useful for receipts and signed invoices.

Never. Invoice Generator does not watermark exported PDFs, PNGs or printed documents. Your invoice is yours, completely unbranded by us.

Yes. The 'Copy link' button securely saves a read-only invoice snapshot and copies a short invoicegenerators.co/i/... URL. Invoice data is not placed in the URL. Anyone with the unguessable link can view, print or download the shared snapshot without an account, but cannot edit your local invoice.

Yes. Templates are pure presentation — switching from Modern to Classic to Corporate (or any of the 10 templates) reflows your data instantly without changing anything you've typed. Try a few and pick the one that best fits your brand.

Yes. Invoice Generator supports 10+ document types: invoices, quotations, estimates, receipts, purchase orders, proforma invoices, tax invoices, commercial invoices, credit notes and debit notes. Each one has its own labels, fields and statuses — pick the right one from the footer's Generators menu.

Your work is autosaved to localStorage every few seconds. Refresh the page, close the tab, even restart your browser — when you come back, your last document is still there. The 'Undo' and 'Redo' buttons in the header let you step back through changes within a session.

Yes. Click the theme toggle in the header (the sun/moon icon) to switch between light and dark, or set it to follow your system preference. Your choice is remembered for next time.
